Renewed

This morning I woke up a little renewed. My horoscope says I am to have a great month for business in February. While I won't hold my breathe for that one, I will take note that the horoscope could be true simply because I can make it happen. If I have the will power and the drive I can increase my business ten fold. You see its not about someone else telling me I can and or will do it, its about just getting out there and doing it. Actions speak louder than words and I plan on following this simple formula, actions < words = success. So, for those of you who always wondered why things just didn't pan out for you, take a look and make sure you walked the walk more than you talked the talk.

OK so, I had to reschedule my appointment. with my personal trainer due to my ankle. Lets hope by next week, specifically Thursday, I will be up and "running" again! In the mean time I will walk on the treadmill and do upper body stuff to burn calories!

OOOUUUCCHHH!!

So today I got up early, early, early (7:00am), went and got my but kicked by my trainer and then suffered through work. Here is where the fun began. I went for my usual run after work, downtown and took a new route. I ended up hitting a giant gravel pot whole that I did not see and sprained my ankle. Since I was more than half a mile from my truck I had to stand in the cold and wait for Brian to come get me and take me back to my truck so I could drive home and yes I was too far to walk with a sprained ankle! For dinner I tried this tortilla, barbie-Q, pineapple concoction and it was awful so I had left-over ziti from Monday. I am lovein the re-energized me but man is it about to kill me. Not too mention i forgot to take half the vitamins I was supposed to today. Lets just say I'm feelin like Karma is against me today!

The results are in!

So today, my personal trainer and I sat down and set some goals. I have decided that writing my goals on paper make them more permanent to me and help me to know that I have something that I need to achieve. Without a goal I tend to meander through without direction.

So my measurements were:

mid-2008 01/2009
Weight: 178.4 214.25
Shoulders: 45" 48"
Chest: 40" 42.5"
Arms: UF-11.25 F-12.75 UN-12 F-13.75
Waist: top-33" btm-35.5" top-39" btm-42"
Hips: 39.25 44"
Thighs: 20.5 22.5"
Calves: 14.5 15.5"
Totals: 20% BMI 28.6% BMI

So those are the measurement changes. As you can see I have put on considerable weight compared to where I was. I have gained fat and lost muscle. Now my goals are as follows

Long-term- Lose 32" of fat
Get weight down below 180 or less
Short term- (6 weeks) Fitness Evaluation Feb. 22nd-28th
lose 6 lbs, loss 8-10" of fat
Every Sunday I have to sit down and plan my meals so that I know what I will be eating through the week and will be less likely to grab anything that's bad for me to eat! This will cut down on the processed foods as well as the junk that I eat. I have to take in at least 3 liters of water a day and take cinnamon, cayenne pepper, ginseng, and a papaya enzyme for blood sugar, energy and other various reasons. I am also going to start with a 14 day cleanse starting on Monday so that I can get my body right and ready.

Outside of my personal training I will be running and training for the Half- Marathon. I am still undecided if I want to do Nashville or the Derby again but I am going to train none the less. Which means running after work on a daily basis a minimum of at least 3 miles and of course up to whatever length I wish.

So here's to getting fit and trim and hopefully healthy and sexy! Now, wheres aspirin, I have a headache!

p.s. one more thing, I'm giving up alcohol for 30 days to help my body adjust as well!
